A Vision for our Greenspace

Ask any of our students what their favorite place on campus is, and they'll tell you it's the Greenspace. For them, it's about play with their peers. For our educators, it's an outdoor classroom that provides opportunities for learning, socialization, and moral formation. 

We're grateful for a space like the Greenspace, and we can make it work better for our students and their families for years to come. We envision an outdoor learning space with carefully-planned stations for play, learning, and prayer.

The Vision

We're prepared to begin upgrades and enhancements ot our stations as soon as we receive funding. We expect to begin the work of grading, irrigation, and landscaping in May 2026.

Landscaping

Improve the space with new sod, mulch pathways, and a new irrigation system. Level surfaces and add a climbing tree, grotto, and a seating berm. Include gravel flooring and a dedicated dig area for building.

Equipment

Add new music instruments, art tables and easels, messy materials, as well as hammocks  and two slides to support sensory experiences, imaginative play, and physical movement.

Storage & Structures

Create a stage, cozy reading nook, and playhouse. Build a grotto and new prayer station for quiet prayer. Create natural arbors for shade and privacy. Provide ample storage for materials and create more tables and benches for collaborative play. 

We've already raised $75,000 to upgrade infrastructure - grading, landscaping, and irrigation. We need your help to fund new and expanded learning stations for our students.
